Camping at Pocono Raceway is a true part of the NASCAR weekend experience and gives you the chance to stay right at “The Tricky Triangle” for up to five days, from Thursday at noon until Monday at noon.
No matter which camping area you choose, you get free Grandstand access on Friday and Saturday, free entry to Fan Fair all weekend, free shuttle transportation, complimentary showers, evening entertainment including live music and Saturday fireworks, plus lots of family-friendly and pet-friendly benefits such as the Ally Bark Park dog park, the Inclusive Children’s Playground and the Pocono Mountains Activities & Welcome Center with yoga, arts and crafts, wellness programs and more.
Kids 12 and under can join for free with paying adults, making it a great option for families, and all campers must register on arrival at Gate 7 once check-in opens on Thursday at noon.
Staying in the infield means living right in the center of the event, surrounded by the circuit, atmosphere, and nonstop race-weekend energy. It is the most traditional Pocono camping choice and feels like being part of the heart of the show. Infield RV sites include a Dash Pass for easier vehicle access in and out, and additional services such as water, waste pumping, and ice are available on site if needed. A Paddock Pass Plus is required if you want access from the infield to the paddock through the pedestrian tunnel.
If you prefer something slightly calmer while still staying close to everything, the Grandstand Campground behind Turn 3 is a great option, offering both tent and RV spaces and very easy access to the Grandstands and Fan Fair. You still enjoy all the main camping perks and can reach the infield activities via shuttle, so you never miss the action. The only important reminder here is that every guest, regardless of age, must also hold a Sunday Grandstand ticket.
